It was supposed to be a beautiful day – at least that’s what Carrie and Dan had hoped for, for all these months. To listen to the weather report for September 8th, the day they were to become husband and wife, it wasn’t looking promising. Plans were quite possibly going to have to change – the ceremony under the apple tree, followed by the romantic back-yard tent reception, were at the mercy of the nasty wind and rain storms that loomed. But Mother Nature, in her own romantic way, decided to cooperate in the end. So, between fits of rain, the sun shone through – at all the perfect moments. Carrie and Dan got their wish and the day was, in fact, beautiful – just as they’d hoped it would be.
